Terms and Conditions of Letting
A refundable deposit of £250 per booking is required to secure the booking payable to Ms Sue Hannant. Or if you prefer you may transfer the money to our bank in either the UK or Spain. Please call for details if you wish to do it this way. The full amount for your holiday is required 8 weeks before the commencement of the rental period. If the final balance is not paid then we will assume that the booking is cancelled and will release the weeks to other people. The deposit will be refunded in full one week after completion of the rental less any breakages etc. as agreed with our manager on vacation of the property.
Arrangements for keys will be made through our manager in Cortes de la Frontera.
If, for any reason beyond the control of the owners (e.g. storm damage) the property is not available on the date booked, all rent paid in advance by the client will be refunded in full, but the client shall have no further claim against the owners.
If you need to cancel your booking then you must tell us in writing. As we incur costs from the time your booking is made the following cancellation charges will apply.
Remember this is a non-tourist area and water is in short supply. The owners have no control over situations where the local water company cut off supply to conserve water. It is a rare occurrence but it has been known to happen.
The owner is not responsible for and cannot accept liability for any injury sustained by any person or damage to, or loss of any property brought on to the owners premises.
The client agrees only those named on the booking form shall use the property and that none will be allowed to cause annoyance or become a nuisance to residents of adjoining premises.
The house is STRICTLY NON SMOKING.
Linen and towels etc. will be changed on a weekly basis. Please bring your own beach/pool towels.
The house must be left in a clean and tidy condition and left secure with all property and contents intact.
The house will be available to enter at 4.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure to allow for cleaning. Variations to this may be available depending on other clients schedules.
Full holiday travel/personal liability insurance is entirely the client's responsibility.
Time cancellation received
Between 6 and 8 weeks before departure.
50% of full cost of booking
Between 4 and 6 weeks before departure.
Up to 8 weeks prior to departure.
75% of full cost of booking
We strongly recommend that you take out adequate insurance cover to protect yourself in the event that you need to cancel.
